In addition, solutions to the selected problems, errata, and updated content for this book are also offered at this website.

The cover photo is a strut free excavation case history with a depth of 13.2 m and a size of 123*105 m. The excavation system was designed by Prof. CY Ou and his team with a combination of cross walls and buttress walls as introduced in Chapter 11.
